What happens with your gaming data ?
The Gamer Passport is a product built on the Itheum protocol. It collects high-value on-chain and off-chain data from web3 games and guilds and links it to individual gamers. The ultimate goal of the gamer passport is to serve as a "universal resume" of a gamer's gaming skills, community, and social skills - so they can move between games and guilds and be "head-hunted" to play new games.
The Gamer Passport aims to achieve this with a "bottom-up web3" approach, where (thanks to the Itheum platform) the gamer "will own and trade their own data".
Gamers, Games, and Guilds who participate in the Gamer Passport product will also form a Data Coalition DAO, where they will work together to price the bulk datasets of gamers and define the terms of use for the sale of data.
Zedge Horizon is a company based in Australia that intends to buy the bulk Gamer Passport dataset from the Data Coalition DAO and will then utilize this data to build analytics that will be available as a web2 data and analytics SaaS product.
The SaaS product will be attractive for Games, Game platforms, and gaming guilds to find gaming patterns and be able to find and recruit high-value gamers to join and play their games (discord and recruitment of best gamers).
Your goal as Data Coalition DAO members is to work together and define the price and terms of use for the Gamer Passport bulk dataset so companies like Zedge Horizon can buy access to the data.
